The inaugural meeting for Bilingual Education of Paddiruppu zone was held under the patronage of the Zonal Director of Education, Mr. S.Sritharan, at the Auditorium today. The principals of selected schools participated at this meeting. The Zonal Director of Education requested the principals to start it for grade 6 initially with Maths, Science, and ICT.Subjeçts.

The Moderator specially trained at NIE also took part in this meeting.

The workshop on “Building positive character traits based on human values" for the Acadamic staff  (Paddiruppu zone) organized by the Zonal Director Of Education was held on 3rd .MARCH .2023 at  the Assembly hall (Kaluthavalai M.V). Swami Surachdananda Jee Maharaj (Assistant Manager - Ramakrishna Mission Batticaloa ) was the chief guest of the event. Mr.G.Vinayagamoorthy (coordinator- Institute of Sri Sathya Sai Education in Human Excellence – Srilanka) , Mr N.Puvanendran (founder of Sathya Sai Institute for Human Excellence – Srilanka), and Mr. Mr. S.Vivekanandan (Medical Officer Of Health - Vellaveli Division) were participated as a resource persons in the workshop.
  Finally Swami Surachdananda Jee Maharaj issued certificates and blessings to the participants of this event .The event was over with the vote of thanks, delivered by Mr. P.Thivitharan (Duputy Director Of Education – Paddirppu Education Zone). Mr. Sivanantham Sritharan (Zonal Director Of Education) has appreciated everyone who supported to make this event a success.

The  first principal meeting for this year was held on 02.03.2023 at the Sivahamy hall in kaluwanchikudy. The Zonal Director of Education presided at the meeting .Deputy Directors of Education, Accountant , Assistant Directors of Education, Coordinator , Principals and  ISAs attended the Meeting and their presented Progress report and Educational activities for next month  (plan). The meeting concluded at 2.00 pm.

We are pleasure to informed you that the opening ceremony of new ”e-learning Smart Unit" at Paddiruppu Education zone was held on 1st march 2023 at 11.30 pm .The first online class  was successfully conducted for grade 4 students through zoom technology at 12.30 pm. The Zonal Director Of Education , Deputy Directors of Education, Assistant Directors of Education and , ISA ‘s attended this event.
The room were upgraded as the "E-learning Smart Unit" Under the guidence of Zonal Director Of Education by Mr.S.Sritharan.

A career guidance counselling conference – 2023 was conducted on 24th February 2023 at 8.30 am to 11.30 am for the G.C.E A/L students (2022). The conference organized under the guidance of  Zonal director Of education by Mr.S.Sritharan. Zonal Director Of Education, Deputy Directors Of Education and Divisional Education Officers participated this conference as representatives of the Zonal Education Office.

(Zonal education office , Divisional Secretariat and ITDLH) staff were performed as resource person in the conference.

• ITDLH Courses and career opportunities
• G.C.E A/L Courses , University courses for A/L Students , and college of education Opportunities
