A career guidance counselling conference – 2023 was conducted on 24th February 2023 at 8.30 am to 11.30 am for the G.C.E A/L students (2022). The conference organized under the guidance of  Zonal director Of education by Mr.S.Sritharan. Zonal Director Of Education, Deputy Directors Of Education and Divisional Education Officers participated this conference as representatives of the Zonal Education Office.

(Zonal education office , Divisional Secretariat and ITDLH) staff were performed as resource person in the conference. 

interactive session covered many topics including,

• “Life skills to succeed in life”
• Awareness of SLQF and NVQ qualifications.
• ITDLH Courses and career opportunities
• G.C.E A/L Courses , University courses for A/L Students , and college of education Opportunities
• “How to Face an Interview Confidently"

Today arrangements were made by Zonal Director Of Education to set up a “E-Learning Unit” to start Online teaching activities for students.

A Meeting was held on 13.2.2023 in Zonal Education Office  under the Zonal Director Of Education of Mr.S.Sritharan. regarding the "E-Learning" programme aimed at improving the learning activities of school students. Secretary  Mr. Vinasithambi Elango (E-Learning center) , Deputy Directors Of Education , Accountant , Assistant Directors Of Education & Subject Coordinators, DEO , were participated in this meeting. 

E-learning leads to improve student-learning opportunity for exchanging knowledge and skills.
